Career Development Training for University Students from Çayeli Bakır

Çayeli Bakır İşletmeleri, Turkey’s underground metal mining company, organized career development courses for university students in the scope of its social responsibility enterprises. 30 people participated in the training organized for Çayeli Bakır scholarship holders and students doing internships in the mining site.

Operating since its establishment with awareness for social responsibility, Çayeli Bakır, recently organized career development courses for students in the town of Madenli. The courses for Çayeli Bakır scholarship holders and interns held at the Hamit Bostancı Culture and Education Training Center was participated in by 30 people. The mining company, which has been providing scholarships to students in the region for 12 years, also provides internship opportunities in the field of mining.

The Courses Were Given By Çayeli Bakir Employees

The career development courses including basic knowledge about ‘Preparing Resumes and Interview Techniques’, ‘Interview Application’ and ‘Effective Presentation Techniques’ to gradually prepare students for the professional world, were instructed by Employee Relations Manager Fatih Koç, Employee Relations Specialist Dilek Aydede and External Relations Assistant Sevtap Songül.

In the speech by Çayeli Bakır Community Relations Manager Osman Zeki Yazıcı prior to the training he said “We have been supporting the Madenli Town youth for years with scholarship and internship opportunities. We have complete faith in the young people of this region. This is why we have taken this undertaking one step further this year and organized these career development courses that we think will help our young people prepare better for the future. We thank all of you for your interest in our program.”
